Outlining the Speech

When outlining a speech, there will be more than one outline. Start a working outline with the body of the speech. Next, work on the sub points to support main points and sub sub points to support sub points and so on. After completing the body of the speech, either the intro or the conclusion should be worked on. When the intro and conclusion are complete the working outline is done and in complete sentences. Now the working outline is complete, a speaking outline can be made. A speaking outline will follow the same format as a working outline, except that all the information is broken down to keywords so the speaker can easily follow his/her outline.-MAX
